I'm a medical assistant at the Cooper Neurological Institute. Specializing in the care of epilepsy, neuro surgery and stroke. I love coaching all things endurance. I enjoy teaching people how to pace themselves, stay mentally engaged, and build confidence through challenging efforts. Watching someone accomplish something they didn't think they were capable of is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching. Endurance workouts aren't just about physical fitness—they're about developing resilience, and I love helping others discover just how capable they really are. A fun fact: I am a video game connoisseur and enjoy playing games of both the past and present. I own all three major consoles ( xbox, playstation, and nintendo switch) and a gaming laptop. True Fitness is my home away from home. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed and encouraged, no matter your experience level. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or stepping into a gym for the very first time, you'll feel seen, supported, and valued. It truly is a testament to how special this place is.
My passion for coaching began in my childhood. I always loved sports, but I didn't have the guidance or knowledge to prepare myself the best way possible. That changed when I joined my high school's cross country and swimming teams. For the first time, I experienced what was possible when you're surrounded by coaches who genuinely care about your growth, both as an athlete and as a person. In 2013, I was introduced to FYR, a nonprofit organization that provides free CrossFit classes and mentorship to inner-city and underprivileged youth. That opportunity allowed me to pour into others the same way my coaches had poured into me. Through that experience, I realized coaching wasn't just something I enjoyed—it was my calling. To this day, coaching is my way of giving back. It's about helping others discover their potential, building confidence, and creating the same positive impact that others once had on my life.
