About Coach

I'm a Creative Director for an advertising company, leading a team of designers who specialize in marketing for feature films, streaming series, and video games — a job that runs entirely on coffee and deadlines. Outside of work and the gym, my time is usually spent with my wife, young son, and two dogs, ideally with a cup of coffee still in hand. My favorite things to coach are Capacity and Endurance. Heavy barbells and Olympic lifts are great, but my favorite part is the challenge of pushing people past their comfort zone and getting them to face the things they usually shy away from. A fun fact: I've almost never met a baseball hat I didn't immediately have to buy — my collection is basically a museum at this point. True Fitness is more than a place to train — it's where my head clears and my mind resets. Genuine communities like this are rare. Between the healthy competition and friendships that carry on outside these walls, True keeps my heart, mind, and body moving.

Turning Point

Motivation & Passion

As one of True's newer coaches, I see this as an opportunity to make a difference in the community. Health and movement have shaped my life — I grew up in an athletic family and rowed at the collegiate level. (Go Drexel!) Coaching gives me the chance to pass that on and help others find the same joy in movement.

What do you do outside of coaching?

I'm a Creative Director for an advertising company, leading a team of designers who specialize in marketing for feature films, streaming series, and video games — a job that runs entirely on coffee and deadlines. Why do you coach?

As one of True's newer coaches, I see this as an opportunity to make a difference in the community. Health and movement have shaped my life — I grew up in an athletic family and rowed at the collegiate level. (Go Drexel!) What is your favorite thing to coach?

Capacity and Endurance. Heavy barbells and Olympic lifts are great, but my favorite part is the challenge of pushing people past their comfort zone and getting them to face the things they usually shy away from.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I've almost never met a baseball hat I didn't immediately have to buy — my collection is basically a museum at this point.

What does the True Fitness community mean to you?

This is more than a place to train — it's where my head clears and my mind resets. Genuine communities like this are rare. Between the healthy competition and friendships that carry on outside these walls, True keeps my heart, mind, and body moving.
